Trade Ins

Outdoor Dog Supply is the leader when it comes to the Garmin Tri-Tronics Trade In Program.  We were one of the first Garmin Dealers to start accepting Garmin buyback trade-ins toward purchase(s).  Outdoor Dog Supply currently accepts both working and some non-working units.

Acceptable

Working Garmin Astro 220, 320, 430. Garmin Alpha 100, 200, 200i, 300, 300i Handhelds, Garmin DC30 collars, Garmin DC40 collars, Garmin DC50 collars, Garmin T5, T5 mini, T5X, T20 collars, Garmin TT10, TT15, TT15 mini, TT15X, TT25 collars. DriveTrack 70, 71, 8" Tread Overlander, and 10" Tread Xl Overlander. Outdoor Dog Supply does not accept “beep-beep” or TriTronics collars.

Not Acceptable

Non-working Alpha 100's, TT10 collars, Garmin DC30 collars, DC40 collars, DC50 collars, Tri-Tronics G2 or G3 collars, Astro 220, Astro 320 handhelds, Tri-Tronics Trashbreaker G2 or G3 handhelds, Tri-Tronics Classic 70 G2 or G3 handhelds. “Beep beep” collars are not accepted in any condition.  We do not accept skunked equipment.

*If you send in non-working equipment that we do not accept or you choose not to go further with the trade in you are responsible for the return shipping cost.

How Does The Program Work?

You can contact us at 757-482-1000, tell us what you have that you would like to turn in for trade and what you are interested in purchasing.  We will provide you with a quote.  If you decide, like most of our trade in calls, to proceed with the trade in, first print and fill out form. (Include this in your box)

Speed up the Trade in process:

  1. Make sure you included a completed trade-in form.
  2. Please separately bag and label any non-working equipment
  3. Charge up the equipment and include the chargers
  4. Give them a quick wipe down. Please do not send in skunked equipment, muddy collars, etc. We do not accept skunked equipment.
  5. Please remove collar straps and any other components you wish to keep, as we are not responsible to send back used components.

After you have filled out the trade in form you have 1 of 2 options to process the trade-in/order.

Option 1:  You can send your equipment to our office, include in the box your completed trade in form.  Upon inspection of your trade-in equipment, we will contact you, finalize the quote based off condition and working status of the products. If any payment is due, we will receive payment at that time.  We will then process your new order and ship out your shipment.

Option 2:  For those that don’t want any downtime between sending in their trade in and receiving their new order, you can complete a purchase through our store.  Upon receipt of your new order, you then send your trade-ins including your completed trade in form.  Upon arrival and inspection, we will initiate a refund for trade-in credit to the card.
