The PetSafe® Wireless Pet Containment System PIF 300 is an instant fence – just plug it in and you’re ready to go. No wires or digging required! The wireless system uses a constant radio signal to create a “stay zone” so that when your pet leaves the safe area he receives a mild correction until he returns back to the containment area or 35 seconds has passed. The fence is completely portable so you can take it wherever you and your pet go – keeping your pet safe and your mind at ease.

Setting up the PetSafe® Wireless Pet Containment System
It takes only minutes to set up, the transmitter plugs into any standard 110 volt outlet and can be placed in any convenient and discreet location in your house or garage. It has a small dial that lets you adjust the signal area to the radius you need.
Training Your Pet
Training your pet to the wireless fence is simple and easy! Once the signal is adjusted to the size you need just mark the boundary using the included training flags at the edge of the signal area. Then, using a leash and holding the receiver collar in your hand, walk your pet around the boundary line while pointing and shaking the flags and saying “NO” and allowing your pet to hear the beeping of the collar.
Next let your pet wear the receiver collar and walk them around the boundary again. Oh his own he may venture into the signal area and get the correction. When he does this quickly pull him back into his yard and praise him, again pointing to the flags and saying “NO”. Repeat this process each day for a few weeks and your pet will quickly learn his new boundaries. After about 30 days you may gradually remove the flags.
